A ticket RESALE Facility is available via Moshtix, allowing those who can no longer attend Splendour in the Grass 2016 the chance to offer their unwanted tickets up for resale to another party. For those still wanting to buy a ticket, this will be the ONLY way to secure a legitimate ticket to Splendour in the Grass 2016. Tickets cannot be obtained through any other means, such as online auction sites or by direct transfer from another individual.

Those intending to offer their unwanted event and/or camping tickets for SALE may do so from 9am AEST Friday 27 May 2016 until 5pm AEST on Wednesday 13 July. This Resale Facility will allow you to offer your tickets for sale through moshtix, giving you the opportunity to get your money back (minus $20 resale fee & minus original booking & transaction fees).

We are unable to predict how many tickets will be returned, or when tickets may be available during the resale period.

To manage traffic and create a greener event, we will again be implementing a vehicle pass system that will encourage carpooling, please see the Splendour website for more detailed information.

Vehicle passes will be available for sale via moshtix.com.au from 9am AEST Monday May 30.


Shuttle services will run between surrounding locations including Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads and North Byron Parklands.


3 Day Event Tickets - $375 + $7 booking fee per ticket

Single Day Tickets (Friday or Saturday or Sunday) - $159 + $6 booking fee per ticket

Camping Ticket - $120 + $5 booking fee per ticket

Camping Ticket – Family Campground - $120 + $5 booking fee per ticket

* You have the option to offset your carbon emissions for $3 per ticket. Less than adding almond milk to your coffee!

This year Splendour are introducing A Camping Ticket that provides access for each ticket holder to The Meadow, a family friendly camping area located within the general campgrounds. Children aged 11 and under are admitted free, and must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times whilst at the festival or campgrounds. A Camping Ticket - Family Campground are one ticket per person and those intending to camp onsite will need to purchase an Event Ticket as well as a separate Camping Ticket. The Camping Ticket does not gain entry to the festival and the Event Ticket does not gain entry to the campgrounds.


All moshtix tickets are sent via email. Tickets will arrive as PDF files attached to your confirmation email, with a separate PDF file for each ticket you need to print out. If you have not received your PDF ticket via email or cannot print your ticket from your email you can log into your online moshtix account to print it out or re-send it to yourself. 

To log into your moshtix account go to www.moshtix.com.au and on the right hand side of the page you will see a space to Join/Sign in. Enter the email address you used when you purchased your tickets and your password. Click on 'view all bookings' then underneath the tickets click print PDF ticket or re-send.

If you have a smart phone, you can access your ticket via your online moshtix account and use the barcode for entry.

1. How do I buy a Gift Voucher? And how many can I buy?

Head to www.moshtix.com.au/v2/gift-vouchers & select the quantity of vouchers you want using the drop down menu. Then follow the prompts to purchase.

You can purchase a maximum of 5 Gift Vouchers at a time.

2. How can I check the balance on my Gift Voucher? How can I check if my gift voucher is expired?

Head to www.moshtix.com.au/v2/gift-vouchers then scroll to the ‘Check Your balance’ section where you enter your voucher number and redemption code.

3. I didn’t receive my Gift Voucher! What do I do?

Please contact our team on 1300 GET TIX (438 849) Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm AEST. We are closed Sundays and Public Holidays. Alternatively, log a ticket support request here


4. Do I have to use the whole Gift Voucher at once? Can I partially redeem my Gift Voucher?

You can just use a portion of your Gift Voucher. Simply enter the denomination you wish to use in the field that states ‘Enter amount to use’

If the cost of the ticket purchase exceeds the redeemable value of a moshtix Gift Voucher, you’re required to pay the difference between the purchase price of the ticket and the value of the particular moshtix Gift voucher. The full value of any unused credit remaining on a moshtix Gift Voucher must be redeemed before alternative payment methods will be accepted in respect of the outstanding balance of the transaction.

5. Can I use my Gift Voucher at moshtix Outlets?

Unfortunately you can only use Gift Vouchers online at this stage. We may allow Gift Vouchers to be redeemed at Outlets in the near future.

6. Can I use my Gift Voucher on any event?

You can use your Gift Voucher on most events on moshtix.com.au. For a list of non-participating events click here

moshtix Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for tickets to events where it is a condition that a specific credit or debit card is required to complete the transaction.

7. How long is a moshtix Gift Voucher valid for?

moshtix Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed within that period.


 8. Can I refund my Gift Voucher?

moshtix will not refund moshtix Gift Vouchers unless required by law.

 9. Can I use more than 1 voucher?

Multiple moshtix Gift Vouchers may be used to redeem tickets in a single transaction. A limit of 2 moshtix Gift Vouchers can be redeemed per transaction.

10. Can I sell my moshtix Gift Voucher?

moshtix Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be resold or exchanged.

11. Can I buy a moshtix Gift Voucher with a Gift Voucher?

Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for further moshtix Gift Vouchers.

12. Can I reload my Gift Voucher?

moshtix Gift Vouchers are not reloadable. When the value of a moshtix Gift Voucher is redeemed, the particular voucher cannot be reloaded.

13. Can I cancel my Gift Voucher?

Your moshtix Gift Voucher is non–refundable and non–returnable, except in accordance with your legal rights. You cannot cancel your Giift Voucher.

 14. Can I exchange 2 Gift Vouchers for 1 Gift Voucher?

You cannot exchange your Gift Voucher for a different denomination, nor can you consolidate the unused value of two or more Gift Vouchers on a new moshtix Gift Voucher.

15. Can I use my Gift Voucher for events in New Zealand?

You cannot use your Gift Voucher to buy tickets for events taking place outside of the country of purchase.

16. My Gift Voucher has expired! Now what?

Once 12 months have passed since the date of purchase of the Gift Voucher, you will not be able to use your Voucher again (even if all or part of the value loaded at the time of purchase remains on the card), and nor will you be able to claim a refund of any unused value remaining on the Gift Voucher.

Upon expiry of the Gift Voucher any unused value remaining on the Voucher is forfeited.

 17. Help! I lost my Gift Voucher. 

You should treat the Gift Voucher as if it were cash. If you lose your Voucher it will not be replaced and you will lose any unused funds on it in just the same way as if you lost your wallet.

You can access your ticket by logging in to your Moshtix account used for the purchase and select Show My Ticket for the relevant event. You then have the option to view the ticket in your browser, download or resend them to an email.
You can then print your ticket or display them on your smart phone for scanning or you can download them on your Apple Passbook App.

If you have not received your ticket via email it could be to do with your email filter. This means the email may be sent to your junk or spam, or even be blocked completely. If moshtix is not set up as a registered sender you may not be receiving our emails..

Also, due to recent update of gmail, your tickets have been delivered to your Promotions folder, rather than your inbox. To access your tickets, please click on the Promotions tab, then move your confirmation/invoice email from Moshtix (with your tickets attached) to your inbox. This will ensure that future emails form us are received efficiently. Please note, you may not be able to view your promotions folder on some mobile devices, therefore you may need to check this on a desktop computer. Otherwise, if you’re still unable to locate your tickets, simply log in to your Moshtix account to download a copy.

3D Secure is an extra level of security that we provide to customers to safeguard against fraud and to ensure your personal protection. 3D Secure is an provided through the MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa programs.

The program works by verifying your identity in real-time through the use of a password so you can shop more confidently and merchants can accept credit card payments with peace of mind. Having your own 3D Secure password means that you have added protection against unauthorized use of your credit card when you shop online.

In practice, every time you pay online on a website that has 3D Secure, a box will pop up from your card issuer asking you for your PIN, just like the bank does at the ATM. In seconds, your card issuer confirms it's you and allows your purchase to be completed.

It requires you to put in a predefined password for your credit card or a netcode sms in order to process the payment. If you are not familiar with this process you may need to contact your bank regarding this matte.r Otherwise we are able to book tickets for you over the phone, booking fees may apply. 

What steps should I take to ensure my 3D secure is set up correctly?

To reissue (change the name or date of birth on the ticket) the original purchaser must log in to their Moshtix account, select the 'manage tickets' option on the upper right hand side, select the re-issue option, and follow the prompts to enter the new attendee’s details. Once the transaction has been approved, the re-issued tickets will be sent to the email address specified on the re-issue page.

Re-issue are not always permitted and are at the discretion of the event organiser and fees may apply. Many reissues close up to 48 hours prior to the event, so don't leave it to the last minute if you need to update ticket details.
